Interviewing Ruby

Ruby asked to be interviewed. I thought long and hard about what I wanted to ask Ruby and came up with the following questions. Go to her blog to see her well thought out answers and great photos.

This week we're using an old picture of me and a Boston Terrier girl I met at doggie class.
I WAS ONLY FIVE MONTHS OLD, WAY WAY WAY BEFORE I MET FIG.

Now I ONLY have eyes for my Figgles.


I am glad we decided to let Daddy pick the winner each week, boy it was a hard decision for daddy~they're all so good! I would not AND could not choose between my friends.
Daddy doesn't know any of the doggies so he doesn't feel bad choosing only one dog, he just reads the captions and chooses the best one, in his opinion. Mommy and me think they're all great.

WHEW, there's a lot of partying going on. I just recouperated from Lola and Penny's Disco party, Now I'm gonna tear it up at Asta's party.

I'm gonna make sure I dance with Fig again, boy she can shake her booty, maybe I'll even get to dance with Tad and Lola too.

Interview, tags, & an Award

Rowan was interviewd by Scout's guardian, Diane, now I'm being interviewed by Rowan ~ aren't I lucky.

By the way, Rowan is an excellent interviewer with thought provovking questions.....

1. Who gave you’re your name and why did they choose it? Daddy chose my name. He could have chosen "Vito" from the Godfather, or even "Bambino" for Babe Ruth, but decided on Balboa ~I'm glad he did, I feel like a Balboa.

2. Balboa, you are a French Bulldog which is a very good breed to be. If you could be any other breed what would it be and why? OOOOOH that is a tough question, there are so many cool doggie breeds. I was going to list all the breeds, but that would take forever and I'm VERY VERY VERY busy....... I guess if I wasn't a Frenchie I would want to be a Pit Bull, since they have such a bad reputation. I would show the world how spoiled, loving, snuggly, sweet, kissy, huggie, loving, friendly, and caring a Pit Bull can be.

3. What is your favorite thing about being a dog? WOW, there are so many cool things about being a dog, all the toys, all the tasty food, butt rubs, kisses, hugs,.......... But I guess my one favorite thing about being a dog is.....being able to smell food even before mommy even opens the bag, box, or jar.

4. How did you get your girlfriend, Fig? And what, exactly, are your intentions towards her? hee hee hee, well, I believe I met Tadpole and he kept talking about his "Mean Sister Fig", later I came to realize that she was his older sister. I started checking out her site and then checking her out. We started flirting and eventually became an item. I forget who asked who out, I think she asked me out.... You know love, it just happens. ............. Well, uh, my intentions. Well...... if I could go to Fig's house, I would kiss her non-stop for about two weeks. Then I would make mommy and Massah move in with all of us (we need maids), we would lay down the rules, we can do whatever we want whenever we want. Unfortunatley we've both been "fixed", so we would have to adopt lots and lots of fur babies.

5. If you could tell your guardians one thing, what would it be? OOOOOH, What ONE thing would I tell my mommy and daddy. I guess I would have to tell them how much I truly love them and how happy I am that they are my mommy and daddy. So many doggies are adopted into abusive and neglectful homes and never know love, so I am very grateful I have a loving mommy and daddy.

When mommy leaves..........

When mommyleaves for work in the morning, I HATE IT, I HATE IT, I HATE IT, ....

I'm also really tired, so I wind up falling back to sleep. Mommy always makes sure I'm tucked into the sheets.

Here's a video of me playing with the flashlight. Mommy had to move the flashlight and do the camera, she's special and has trouble doing both at the same time.

Not much going on......

Hey all,

Nothing much going on, mommy did have off Thursday and Friday from school, so I got to hang out with her all day. But she didn't take many pics, we've just been so busy playing and cuddling.

Mommy gave me some cream cheese to taste, I wanted to make sure it smelled good before I tasted any. You never know when medicine will be added to a food.

It smelled good and tasted even better. I must get more of this cream cheese in the future.

Mommy got me another "chew chew", I like to move around to different places when I chew on it.

Sometimes I like to sit right next to daddy, incase his stinky feet try to attack..... I'm right there to teach them a lesson.

Sorry I haven't posted in a while. It's all mommy's fault, she's complaining how sick and tired, and overwhelmed she is. Doesn't she know that I come first not her stupid job. Hey I have been playing with you when I get home and I make you yummy food. Then we play again and again with your hedgehog balls, pull toys, and chase the flashlight.

Okay I'll give you that and all the kisses you and daddy give me, but you have been neglecting my blog, and I really miss my girlfriend Fig.

Oh, mommy caught me being good. Daddy had some friends over the other day, one of them was very tired and fell asleep. So I gave him one of my toys, incase he wanted to bite onto it when he fell asleep. Mommy gave me extra kisses and treats for that.

Sick and tired

My mommy is sick and tired from work. It's been a rough week for her. So we're just gonna chill this weekend and I'll try and help mommy feel better. The quicker she gets better the quicker I get even more attention.

The good news is she is now on the board of directors for our condo (just for two months ~ two people stepped down) They're will be elections the end of October, she is hoping to be elected for the year.

I'm home, I'm home!!!!!

I'M HOME and my mommy's back from work!

Okay so I was sooooooo happy to see my mommy when she got home, but then I had to teach her a lesson. Even though I got new toys, extra carrots and chicken I ignored her while.





But I got so excited that I was home with mommy again, that I asked her to play with me.

Sneaking on the computer

I was able to sneak on the computer at the vet's office while being abandoned by my parents.


I still can't believe she left me here while she went camping. Even though they're coming to get me on Tuesday I think I'll ignore them for a while.

I might be able to sneak on again tomorrow and check all your blogs.
