AAAARGGGGHHH!

So, while we were waiting for our cable to get back on, lots of things are going on..........



1. We can't keep the computer in the second bedroom, the cable split doesn't work in out stupid condo complex, so mommy has to put the computer back in the living room. SHE HATES IT IN THERE, she says it looks cheap and destroys all her hard work and money to fix up the condo.

2. There are people building things in our complex, we can see them from the porch. They make lots of noise and I don't like them. It's not a great pic, but can you see the car and all the wood?

















I must sit on my mommy's lap and watch everything they do. I have to make sure they don't try to come on my porch, or I will have to do to them what I did to the evil leaf.
















3. Mommy was forced to clean the house (ABOUT TIME) since she couldn't do any of her boring work, and I got tons of peanut butter in my kong. OH YEAH!!!!!

4. Mommy also took me to the vet, my ears have been very itchy. I don't have an ear infection but they are a little gooey, then the vet said I may have mange since there is also a rash near my ear. OR it could be a sympton of another problem. There are also a few red spots on my belly, mommy always thought they were irritations from me rubbing against the carpet.







Can you see the rash near my ear? I hope Fig still finds me attractive.








Karen here: I feel like an awful, neglectful mother. I take very good care of Balboa and the thought that he has mange, I feel so guilty. I am thinking that it is mange because the thought that is a symptom of something else is just to scary. I have to continue putting a special ointment in his ear and on the rash. If it doesn't heal in a few days, they want us to come back in.

I think we did a great job on the plants. Some of the neighbors helped too. We got rid of an old ugly bush, they added some of their plants and a pot. We have such a nice place, don't ya think?

MORE OF OUR HANDYWORK.


Mommy added another plant after she took this picture. She also bought a hose with a nozzel so she can evenly spray water and make sure all the soil is soaked and the roots get lots of water. Maybe next time she takes a picture she'll do it after she's watered the garden so it doesn't look dried out.

This weekend, and a few other things...

First let me begin with how adorable my girlfriend Fig is. Just look at her, ahhhhhhh, so lovely. She got the gifts I sent her and of course she played with the hedghog ball first - MY FAVORITE TOY.

I had an okay weekend, but mommy was mad because she said she waited all week to sit on the porch in the sun and it was cloudy both mornings. Mommy said that in two weeks school will be over and her summer vacation will start. That means I get to sit on her lap IN THE SUN every morning, YEAH!!!!! I was mad too, besides sitting on her lap, I love laying in the sun.

Mommy keeps adding things to AND cleaning the porch, she says it's her favorite room besides the kitchen. Daddy says if she keeps adding plants and decorations to the porch there won't be any room for people, I hope that's not true! Mommy says to pretend the barbecue tools and the big ugly yellow stick are not there, she willbe moving them shortly.

OOOOH the basil and oregano are starting to grow. Mommy says once they get a little bigger she's gonna transfer them to rectangular pots. Of course I'll help, like I always do.

Last night mommy sat on the porch and drank something called sangria. It had fruit in it but she said I couldn't have any because I would get sick,

Instead she cut up some apples and pears for me. One day I will have to be sneaky and get that sangria since my MEAN MOMMY WON'T SHARE.

After a while I got tired, so I decided to go inside and chew on one of my toys, I made sure I could still see mommy and daddy on the porch.

Mommy got inspired from Joey and Tanner's mommy. She still makes me my own food, but she decided to add different things to the food each time I eat. One day I got cream and strawberries mixed in with my food, another time I got blueberries, see....... Mommy took a video of me eating my food, it's really dark because mom is not so smart, but you can hear me chowin' down.

Suki started a new game, so I am going to show my baby pics. These are from my first week home with mommy and daddy. I was so tiny and puppyish then, now I'm a muscular dude with a girlfriend.

Cleaning, Planting, Cooking, and Playing

Mommy cleaned the porch yesterday (FINALLY). I had to help her of course. Then she bought some flowers and herbs and we potted them in plants. She made such a mess, so she had to clean again! She also planted some flowers in front of the condo as well. I can't wait till they grow tall. Mommy says we have to say "hello" to the flowers, and "do nice". I think she's crazy but I do what she says, just to shut her up.


I don't know the name of any of the flowers (because mommy threw out the cards that come with the flowers), just that they are perennials - bloom most of the year, so we have one hanging and two in pots. The other pots look empty but mommy planted oregano and basil seeds. She dumped the whole packet in the pot. I told her not too because it's only a small pot, but did she listen. I can't wait post pictures whent the pots crack and mommy has to replant the oregano and basil plants.








Mommy and me also cooked. We made more of my food. Here's a pic of one frozen bag and one refrigerated bag. Mommy takes three out of the freezer at a time. She says its easier and faster to heat up when its not frozen, okay - I'll give my mommy credit this one time, that is a smart idea- but I still can't wait for the pots to crack.



The best part was this morning, we got to play with my hedgehog balls. Mommy bought me two more, SO NOW I HAVE FOUR!!!!!! They pick out the colors - I don't like yellow or green. Still, aren't they cool, well we had so much fun.





Mommy throws one at a time across the room and I run to get each one. Then we do that over and over and over and over again. Then I get an icecube to chomp on while I cool down. Playing with four is so much better than playing with only two.


One of the hedgehog balls boucned off the wall and almost hit daddy's "Godfather" picture. I looked up to make sure everything was okay.

Okay, now I need to take a break

It's time to sit on the A/C vent and cool down. It wasn't that hot today, but it came on because it was preprogrammed. Mommy didn't want to shut it off now that I was relaxing on it, but she did shut it off after I cooled down.



OH, By the way, Fig - look how much room we have if I sit on one side and you could sit on the other.



I either sit on this vent or the one in the kitchen. When I sit on this vent I can also guard the porch for ants and other bugs. OH and now I can look at a clean porch!
