Typical Evening at Home

This is what happens most evenings

Mommy takes out her camera to try and take pics of us.

Balboa: "Don't look Anthony she has that camera again."

Balboa: "want to play Anthony, since mommy is too busy with that stupid camera?"

Anthony: "Yeah, lets play and ignore her, but she won't let go of your toy." Mommy still holding onto MY toy
Balboa: "Maybe you can play tug with me?" Anthony trying to stretch up to talk with me

Anthony: "I don't have any teeth yet to grab onto the toy, see." Anthony showing me inside of his mouth

Balboa: "Whoa what is that noise?" Listening and being on guard

Balboa: "Oh, its just bags of clean clothes mommy hasn't put away yet. There so
filled with clothes they are falling over."

Balboa: "Whoa, gotta fart. Oh that felt good."

Anthony: "That stinks, worse than my diapers." Anthony diapers stink REALLY REALLY BAD

Balboa: "Yeah, I'm pretty proud of myself. Stick with me and
I'll teach you how to stink out the house."

Anthony: "Heee, Heee, Heee. Between, you, me and daddy, maybe we can stink

her out and she'll drop the camera."

Anthony: "Or maybe she'll drop the remote and we can watch something

other than lifetime movies." Mommy watches too much lifetime stuff, even daddy says so

He's BAAAAAAACK & Got Some Lovin'

Thanks for all your well wishes about Anthony, he is doing much better. He is back to "army crawling" all over the floor. What is "army crawling" well according to mommy it is when a baby is too young to normall crawl. So they crawl on their arms and stomach. And, boy can Anthony do that all over the living room floor. He's taking over the whole place.

He's supposed to stay on that play mat, but OH NO, he's gotta move all around. See!!!! See his legs on the rug!!!!!

Okay, now for picture of the star of the blog. ME!!!! Mommy is rubbing my neck, oh yeah I really like that . About time I am treated like the king around here.

I hope I get all this lovin' on Christmas Eve. Mommy and daddy are having Christmas Eve at our place. MOmmy's parents, sister and Brother-in-law are all coming over. I better get extra butt rubs, and EXTRA FOOD. OR I WILL PEE ALL OVER THE PLACE, YEAH YOU HEARD ME. PEE ALL OVER THE PLACE.

Mommy missed out joining the Holiday Card Exchange, so we are going to wish everyone a Merry Christmas.

long time

We are all okay. My mommy had a tough pregnancy and had to deliver 5 weeks early. Anthony Jr spent some time in NICU, but is doing great now. I'm still trying to deal with this new person in the house, sometimes I really don't like sharing my mommy.

I will try to make my mommy find time to start blogging again for me. I really miss all of you.

My Afternoons

Since my daddy works nights but is home during the day. Depending on the weather I go for walks with my daddy. Then when mommy gets home in the afternoon, I am so tired all I can do is wait for dinner.
Then after a nice dinner I lay on my mommys bed, in the sunlight, making sure nobody gets to close to our condo. I now have 2 and 1/2 humans to protect. Daddy gets home at night and since mommy can't sleep much we get up when daddy gets home. I get midnight kisses and belly rubs and then go back to sleep. Life is good in the Balboa household.




Though I have one question. What in the hell is my mommy doing?????? Can you see me behind her, I am so confused. Sometimes she is so weird.

Cards and Thanks!

It is so nice to get x-mas cards in the mail and email everyday from all my doggie friends. I just wish stupid Kodak would send my cards already. We ordered them on Nov 30th and they ARE STILL NOT HERE!!!!!!

This is what I think of Kodak!

Mommy is afraid they won't arrive to our friends in other countries in time for the Holidays. We can't even email the cards out till we get one in the mail to scan!

Next time we will order from a different place!!! Where do you all order your cards from??????

Mommy has had a hard time focusing on ANYTHING ELSE, so the Caption Game will be delayed just one more week and we are so sorry about not sending out the birthday card and gotcha day cards to all our friends. We are still waiting for my christmas pics to arrive, they are taking way too long to get here.

Mommy is 9 weeks and 2 days preggo today, but this photo is of my little brother or sister at 7 weeks 6 days. I can't wait to have a little human brother or sister, I will protect him/her and give her/him lots of kisses and cuddles.


Mommy said that I may be able to hear the heartbeat when the baby gets a little bigger, since doggie ears hear EVERYTHING.

what I did on mommy and daddy's day off

So mommy and daddy were off from work (yes another day). I am sooooo lucky!!!!!!

I like to spy on mommy and let her know I can see her.

Then out of no where, I jump up on the couch........

and demand to know what she is eating!

Sometimes sticking my nose right up against her mouth gets me food and other times I get an ice cube. I really like icecubes, espeically when they make the whole couch wet and daddy has no place to sit, hee hee

After a long day of spying on mommy and jumping on the couch, a Frenchie needs his sleep.

I know this bed is fluffy, comfy, and squishy, but sometimes the floor is comfy too!

Yes, it really is comfortable! You should try it mommy!

I'm finally back and I'm STAYING!!!!!

So, mommy said she had some things to take care of, but I call it plain laziness!

This is what I think of my lazy mommy.

Mommy and daddy are very happy and healthy, (just lazy). Mommy is feeling better and is surrounding herself with positive people whom she can be herself around. I think my mommy is a lot happier, and daddy is happy that mommy is happy.

So, what have I been up to, well, right now I am on leaf duty. Those damn evil leaves are back and they're everywhere. They need to be destroyed. I try to kill and eat each one of them, but as soon as I turn around there are more jumping around!!!!!! What am I gonna do?

Feeling Better and Stupid Flashlight

My mommy is starting to feel better, thanks for your comments. Whenever my mommy is sad, giving her kisses till she starts laughing is always a good sign.

Today we played with the flashlight, I can never get that stupid flashlight, but ONE DAY I WILL.


Here I'm trying to find a way to climb the wall and get that light.

What, how did he get here so fast?????

My mommy has a stupid addiction to coffee, she says its so good. Well if she loves me and wants to really spoil me than she should give ME some of this coffee, don't you all agree?

My Mommy

Thanks for all the well wishes for my mommy, she's starting to feel better. Everyone around her is having babies and she's having a hard time being strong. Mommy just doesn't like to tell people because they give her advice or tell her stories, that only makes her feel worse. A friend told her its okay to feel sad, its okay to mourn, its okay to treat me like her baby! I told mommy she can vent to me all she wants, I'll always listen and give her love big wet kisses.

I find that sleeping on mommy's legs makes her feel better. She asked me to cut out her face since she said it was her "I just woke up" face.

On Thursday we'll announce the winner of the caption game from two weeks ago and post another caption using a photo of Amber-Mae and Faith, it's a good one!

Mommy helped keep a doggie from running into the street. Sometimes we see this litte dude on our walks around the condo, he came walking near our street towards the woods. Mommy and I were chilling on the bench when all of a sudden we hear the woman scream and call the dude's name, mommy got up thinking the worst. We saw the doggie running away toward the middle of the road. Mommy and got down on her knees and called the doggie over in a playful voice and I got into a play stance. The doggie came right over to her. The woman was so happy mommy and I were there to help her catch her doggie. Mommy was happy the doggie came to her and didn't run towards the street. The woman said she always takes him off the leash and he never runs away until today. Mommy told daddy she would NEVER NEVER NEVER take me off the leash. I'm glad she doesn't, I might run away to play and get lost or meet a mean human.

Mean Mommy, Cards, & New Year

Mommy took down all the cards I got from my DWB friends. Mommy and Daddy say they can't reach any of the books, CDs, or DVDs. But we all know the truth..... they're just JEALOUS, JEALOUS, JEALOUS.




Just look at all the wonderful cards I received from my DWB family. Human friends and family are just amazed about how many doggies are just like me, the king of the castle, hee hee. Receiving the cards was the highlight of my holiday!

For now, I'm just gonna settle down for a nap and ignore her when she takes pictures of me.
